JALAPENO HOT PEPPER
Capsicum annuum 'Jalapeno'
This chili pepper has a warm, burning sensation when eaten. A mature jalapeno is 2 to 3 inches long and is commonly picked and consumed while still green, but can be allowed to fully ripen and turn crimson red. Grows 24 to 48 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.
