Myrica pensylvanica

Medium-growing, upright rounded semi-evergreen grows 5 to 10 feet tall and wide, with leathery deep green leaves. Thrives in poor sandy soil, and is extremely salt tolerant. Aromatic, waxy coated gray berries are used to make candles.
